Peppered Jersey Royals
These tasty boiled potatoes take minimal time and effort to make.
- 700g (1½lb) Jersey Royal potatoes, scrubbed
- Small knob of butter
- Ground smoked black pepper
- Put the potatoes in a large pan of cold, salted water. Cover and bring to the boil, then bubble gently, half covered, for 15-20min or until just tender. Drain well. Add the butter and plenty of coarsely ground smoked black pepper and toss well.
